The Canari flood story holds some details again, similar to the other flood accounts, including Noah’s. Likewise, I am unable to find a transcript, nor am I able to currently find a date for this oral tradition, and so I cannot confirm or deny any potential outside influences.
We see in this tale regardless, these details:
- A flood comes to wipe out mankind
- The survivors gain refuge on a mountain
- Spirit beings or hybrid races interact and intermarry with mankind
- A rainbow appears
